content coordinator

Casual/Part-Time Position — Remote w/ Local Availability Required

We are seeking a content coordinator to support the ongoing digital storytelling and presentation of our brand.

This is not a high-volume social media role centered around constant posting, trends, or influencer-style content creation. We are intentionally building a quieter, more editorial and portfolio-driven presence rooted in atmosphere, storytelling, and carefully curated moments.

The ideal candidate understands restraint, visual cohesion, and how to create content that feels elevated, archival, and intentional.

Our content is centered around:

• Publishing milestones

• Behind the scenes creative moments including onboarding and production meetings

• Event coverage

• Company growth and storytelling

• Selective insight into the world of Bijou

This role is primarily remote and low volume in nature. Some months may involve only a handful of social media posts across platforms. The focus is not quantity, but consistency, tone, and presentation. In some cases, content will be captured collaboratively or provided directly by leadership for editing, curation, captioning, and posting remotely. This is a flexible and collaborative creative support rather than a full-time content production position.

Applicants must be based in Rochester, NY, and available on an as-needed basis for occasional meetings, production sessions, creative discussions, and company events.

• Curate and post intentional, low-volume editorial-style content

• Maintain Bijiou’s visual identity, tone, and aesthetic across digital platforms

• Capture occasional behind the scenes content during meetings, events, and production moments

• Edit and organize content submitted by leadership and contributors

• Attend select creative meetings and author onboarding sessions to better understand ongoing projects and brand direction

• Collaborate closely with leadership to ensure content aligns with Bijou’s voice and long-term vision

• Help preserve a cohesive, elevated, and culturally grounded digital presence

• Has a strong eye for branding, storytelling, and aesthetic consistency

• Understands subtle, editorial-style content creation and visual restraint

• Is comfortable working in a collaborative and evolving creative environment

• Has experience with content curation, photography, videography, social media coordination, and/or creative storytelling

• Understands how to create content that feels human, intentional, and visually refined
