All prices listed on the Bijou Publications website are in USD and must be paid in full unless otherwise stated in writing. Payment is required at the time of purchase for ebooks, consultations, services, and event registrations.

For editorial services, invoices must be paid according to the terms outlined in the service agreement. Work will not begin until payment is received and contracts are signed. Failure to submit payment by the agreed-upon deadline may result in delays or cancellation of services.

All sales are final. Refunds are not provided for completed digital products, rendered services, missed consultations, or event registrations unless explicitly stated.

Bijou Publications provides editorial services exclusively for completed manuscripts or full drafts. Services are not offered for incomplete, partial, or concept-only projects.

A mandatory consultation is required prior to booking any editorial service. The consultation serves as a client intake process to determine project readiness and service alignment. Submission of a consultation request does not guarantee acceptance.

For approved projects:

• A written contract must be reviewed and signed before work begins.

• Full payment or an agreed-upon payment schedule must be completed prior to edits.

• Turnaround times are outlined in the service agreement and begin upon receipt of the full manuscript and payment.

Developmental Editing and Manuscript Evaluation are distinct services. Manuscript Evaluation provides a high-level assessment and editorial letter without in-text edits. Developmental Editing includes direct manuscript markup and in-depth editorial guidance. Line editing, copyediting, proofreading, and grammatical corrections are not included in either service.

Bijou Publications reserves the right to decline projects that fall outside editorial scope or professional alignment.

Workshops, Classes, Readings, and Bijou Publications Events

All event registrations are final unless otherwise specified. Tickets, class enrollments, and workshop fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

For virtual events, access details will be provided prior to the event date. It is the attendee’s responsibility to ensure stable internet access and technical readiness. No refunds will be issued for missed sessions due to personal scheduling conflicts or technical issues on the attendee’s end.

For in-person events, Bijou Publications reserves the right to modify event details, including date, location, or format, if necessary. In the event of cancellation by Bijou Publications, registrants will receive a refund or credit at the organizer’s discretion.

Recording, redistribution, or unauthorized use of event content is strictly prohibited.

All ebooks and digital publications sold by Bijou Publications are delivered electronically and are intended for individual use only. Upon purchase, customers receive a non-transferable license to access and download the digital product for personal use.

Once downloaded, ebook files will be accessible through the file storage or ebook reader application on the device used to complete the download. Bijou Publications does not provide ongoing storage or hosting of digital files after delivery. Customers are responsible for saving, backing up, and maintaining access to their purchased files.

Due to the nature of digital products, all ebook sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations are permitted once the download has been delivered or accessed. Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their email address and device compatibility prior to purchase.

Ebooks may not be reproduced, redistributed, shared, resold, or uploaded to third-party platforms in any form. Unauthorized distribution constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights and may result in legal action.

If technical issues prevent access or download, customers must contact Bijou Publications within 48 hours of purchase for assistance.
