Hybrid Publishing Policy

Bijou Publications operates under a Hybrid Publishing Partnership Model. This is a contractual collaboration between author and Bijou. It is not traditional publishing, and it is not vanity publishing.

Under this model:

The author retains full copyright ownership of the manuscript.

Bijou does not claim ownership of intellectual property.

A formal publishing agreement outlines royalty percentages, scope of services, term length, and responsibilities of both parties.

Each project is evaluated individually and accepted selectively.

Hybrid Publishing requires an upfront financial investment from the author. The investment does not guarantee sales, bestseller status, or media placement. It guarantees professional production standards and execution of agreed deliverables.

Consultation Policy

All consultations must be paid in full prior to confirmed booking. Payments are non-refundable. Rescheduling requires at least 24-hour notice. Missed sessions without noticed are forfeited.

Bijou Publications provides services exclusively for completed manuscripts or full drafts. Services are not offered for incomplete, partial, or concept-only projects.

Submission Policy

Submissions must be complete manuscripts. Bijou does not accept unfinished drafts.

Response times vary based on volume. Due to volume, detailed editorial feedback is not guaranteed for declined submissions.

Bijou reserves the right to decline any manuscript without obligation to provide justification.

Refund Policy

Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. If a project is terminated early, compensation is due for all work completed to date. Refund eligibility is governed strictly by the signed contract.

All consultations are non-refundable.

Editorial services are non-refundable once initiated.
